Our TY students kicked off the school year with an unforgettable two-day adventure in beautiful Graiguenamanagh! The trip was packed with outdoor fun, team bonding, and personal growth.
🛶 On Day 1, students explored the River Barrow by kayak and hydrobike, and enjoyed a scenic 5km boat trip to Ballykeenan Lock and back.
🎶 In the evening, students bonded over live music, karaoke, and camping in safe, comfortable tents under the stars.
🚶♂️ Day 2 featured a guided 9km hike along the picturesque Clashganny Loop, where riverside and woodland trails offered a peaceful connection with nature — even in the rain!
This experience was all about building teamwork, leadership, resilience, and lasting friendships.
A huge thank you to our Programme Coordinator, Ms. Hogan, for organising the trip, and to Mr. O'Brien, Ms. O'Leary, and Ms. J. Murphy for joining her to oversee the trip. Special thanks also to EMovement for facilitating the adventure!
