The Wellread Team
This is a student-led group dedicated to promoting reading for pleasure across the school community. Members support a positive reading culture by taking part in initiatives such as paired reading with younger pupils, sharing and recommending books, and helping to develop engaging reading activities. The team also contributes to literacy-focused projects, including the school newspaper, giving students a voice and encouraging a love of reading beyond the classroom.

Peer-Teaching
Our wonderful Wellread Team facilitated a frightfully interesting 1st Year English lesson that called on students to read excerpts and solve the mysteries. The learning intention of 'Students will understand the meaning of motif by identifying recurring themes and patterns within the mystery' was achieved thanks to the wonderful peer teaching of our Wellread Team!
